HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU IMPACT WITH YOUR CHARITABLE WORK?
The primary purpose of the Newell Advocacy Group is to provide services and resources to disadvantaged community members in need. The Newell Advocacy group is the proud sponsor of the Annual Labor Day Cookout and Back-To-School Give-A-Way held at Kayak Point Park. The event is open to the public with members of the International Association of Machinists volunteering to serve up delicious barbecue and other ethnic cuisines. The organization provides fun activities for the whole family with kayaking, football, basketball, frisbee, and volleyball games. The Newell Advocacy Group adopts families in need and provides short-term financial support, holiday meals, and gifts for underaged children.

The Newell Advocacy Group is governed by the organization’s bylaws in compliance with the Internal Revenue Service and the State of Washington. All donations and volunteer contributions are utilized by the Newell Advocacy Group to promote the mission of the organization.
